OkCupid Test

The Slow Dancer
Deliberate Gentle Love Dreamer (DGLDm)

Steady, reliable, and cradling her tenderly. Take a deep breath, and let it out real easy...you are The Slow Dancer.

Your focus is love, not sex, and for your age, you have average experience. But you're a great, thoughtful guy, and your love life improves every year. There's also a powerful elimination process working in your favor: most Playboy types get stuck raising unwanted kids before you even begin settling down. The women left over will be hot and yours. Your ideal woman is someone intimate, intelligent, and very supportive.

Your exact opposite:
The Hornivore

Random Brutal Sex Master
While you're not exactly the life of the party, you do thrive in small groups of smart people. Your circle of friends is extra tight and it's HIGHLY likely they're just like you. You appreciate symmetry in relationships.

ALWAYS AVOID: The Battleaxe

CONSIDER: The Maid of Honor or The Sonnet

1=5 Life is Simple

Midsems are over
Huurrraahhh!!!!
Last night just after finishing my CS [computer science] practical exam
I went to movie with my friends from DareDevil's wing
[or rather it was already decided that i will go with them!]
it usually happens that I stay less in my wing [Zoro's] and enjoy my time there [DD]
so last night we were around 15 odd people
going through streets of Mumbai singing loudly
laughing on each others jokes
we went to IMAX Multiplex at Wadala
this place is really cool
it has world's Biggest Dome theater [or screen whatever they call it]
and we watched Charlie and the Chocolate Factory movie in that HUGE dome theater
well,.... movie was FART and really boring to many of us
but we enjoyed the AC and cool crowd

with friends i enjoy and don't think too much
so whats this got to do with title 1=5 Life is Simple??
friends are not just for timepass
they not only make you happy, make you forget other things
they can make you THINK!!!

Shantanu is good friend of mine
he is in Hostel 2
[but Hostel3 Rocks!!!]
and we spend hours talking on numerous topics mostly non academic and non gossiping topics
and HE IS GOD, [meaning he is too good]
Day before yesterday we were talking on some arbit [arbitrary, anything random] topic
he suddenly asked me for a pen
i gave the one i usually carry in my pocket
and he wrote something on his hand
it was like this

1=5
what is this? is he mad??
2=25
nop looks like something more is coming
3=125
hmmm now there is one link 5, 25=5x5, 125= 5x5x5
4=625
Hahaha he is just writing powers of 5 so whats the big deal?
5=.....

he stopped
and asked me what should be written there
my maths is not that bad
i said its obvious 55 i.e. 5x5x5x5x5
no. tell me the answer YOU would WRITE there
i thought after seconds of calculations 3125
but as soon as i started saying THREE THOUSAND....
he simply wrote
5=1
what the hell??!! what is writing??!!
he looked at me and then pointed at the first equation he wrote
1=5
so when you come across 5 again
why bother finding some complex solution?
just write 5=1

LIFE IS SIMPLE. BUT WE MAKE IT COMPLICATED BY FINDING COMPLEX SOLUTIONS RATHER THAN USING SOME SIMPLE ONES
IT DOESN'T MATTER WHICH ONE IS MORE CORRECT
YOU HAVE TO APPLY ANY SOLUTION IN THE GIVEN TIME WITH EASE
LIFE IS NOT ALWAYS ABOUT RIGHT OR WRONG
ITS SIMPLER THAN THAT
BUT WE MAKE IT COMPLEX

Oh Man! HE REALLY IS GOD!!!

Colorquiz.com Personality test

This blog is inspired from my friends friend Vikash's journal entry

Free personality analysis from ColorQuiz.com.
Generated on Wed Sep 21 12:31:29 2005.

Your Existing Situation

Active, but feels that insufficient progress or reward is being made for the effort exerted.

Your Stress Sources

Wants to overcome a feeling of emptiness and to bridge the gap which he feels separates himself from others. Anxious to experience life in all its aspects, to explore all its possibilities, and to live it to the fullest. He therefore resents any restriction or limitation being imposed on him and insists on being free and unhampered.

Your Restrained Characteristics

Remains emotionally unattached even when involved in a close relationship.

Feels that he cannot do much about his existing problems and difficulties and that he must make the best of things as they are. Able to achieve satisfaction from sexual activity.

Your Desired Objective

Wants interesting and exciting things to happen. Able to make himself well-liked by his obvious interest and by the very openness of his charm. Over-imaginative and given to fantasy or day-dreaming.

Your Actual Problem

Seeks to avoid criticism and to prevent restriction of his freedom to act, and to decide for himself by the exercise of great personal charm in his dealings with others.

Your Actual Problem #2

Has a fear that he might be prevented from achieving the things he wants. This leads him to employ great personal charm in his dealings with others, hoping that this will make it easier for him to reach his objectives.

This is almost 90% correct
and its really great to know about yourself in this way
but dont take it seriously
people change
they change within seconds

Matki Phod !?

Let me tell you more about my pervious post
And explain it briefly.

I guess there is no need to explain about Wing Treat
Hiranandani is residential cum shopping area near our college.
And its very famous for its structures which looks like old Greek buildings.

Naturals Icecream : "Naturals" is an ice cream company very famous for its taste that is consistant with companies name Naturals. And its really hard to find outlet of naturals.

Matki Phod :
This is one of our traditional festival to celebrate birthday of Lord Krishna.
Lord Krishna is famous for being naughty.
As a child he used to take Curd placed somewhere at hight.
So we also do something like that to celebrate his birthday.
We take a pot and add some curd to it

Then we tie it with rope and [not in picture] and hang it to height
[It was hung from 2nd floor so you can imagine the height]

Thats how we look before going to the Footer Ground.
[The ground between two hostel wings where we play smaller version of football called FOOTER in which each team has six players including goalkeeper]

Then we throw water on footer ground to create mud so that if we fall we dont get hurt too much.
[And everyone loves to play in mud if there is no Mom to scold you !
No need to worry about dirty clothes we have washing machines in our Hostel
Hostel 3 is the best among 13 hostel
H3 Rocks!!!]

Now we remove our clothes
;)
Not all but just Shirts

And now comes the best part
We make human tower

And try to reach the MATKI [the Pot with Curd]
You can see splash of water in the bottom left corner
Other people throw tremendous amount of water the GOPALs [person making human tower]

And sometimes the force of water is so strong [they throw it from 3rd floor]
We fall

but after trying we get the Matki

And then everyone is too happy to say anything

The AMPLIFIED and other electronics part is purely Academic.
But whatever it is I dont know any other Institutes conducting such types of workshop.
[Student manage the whole event rite from componants to managing place and electricity]

I better not say much about my quiz because I have my Physics Quiz tommorow!!!
LOL!!!

So bye for now
And wait for 2-3 days and I will tell you more about Salsa Workshop and Face Painting Competetion
And yes for that I need some help
I dont have much space on net to upload pics
I cannt use Hello as Hello doesnt support proxy servers
and village photo that I am using is already saying that I am using all of my free space
Suggest me any other option

Thanks
bye
-Sudhi
;)

[PS: I am nowhere in those pics but I was team leader instructing how to form Human Tower and how to get the Matki]

Life at IITB

On August 27th I sent an email to my friend describing life here in IITB
This is part of it.
...
Its usual fun here !
We had wing treat tonight [i.e. two persons gave all wing mates treat!]
We went to HiraNandani [HN] you might have heard about it.
[ Gumshuda from Chalte Chalte, What is mobile no. and many more songs scenes were taken in HN] , We ate "Naturals" ice cream.
They taste like Heaven !

Last night we had MATKI FOD [or in marathi DAHI HANDI] in our hostel.
According to the great Hostel 3 tradition we, freshers, were supposed to, and we did, MATKI FOD.
It was great fun man! forming circles and then other light weight people standing on them.
As usual I was co-ordinating the GOPALs, instructing them how to stand, how to climb.
I learned a lot from it, improved my leadership skills.

Today in morning I attended a competition AMPLIFIED.
As the name suggests it was On The Spot[OTS] circuit designing and making.
Topic was OP AMP of which I didnt know anything but just one fact.
Some 2 weeks ago I attended ELECTRIFIED Workshop where we were taught basics of Electronics
There I learned OP AMP as COMPARATOR, and today's problem was to construct SQUARE WAVE from single 15 V DC supply using 741 and other usual things like resistors and capasitors.
It was great experience, and I learned a lot of Electronics from it.
We [group of two, my room mate Zubin Mehta and myself] managed to come 5th [winners were first three who received MICRO CONTROLLER Kits]

We have Quiz almost every week [usually on Wednesday]
This week it is Physics.
Last week it was Maths.
Aand last to last was Chemistry.
My Grades [we have grade system here not Mark Distribution system] are not yet declared.
But I hope to get decent grade.[hopefully Average +]
I am learning a lot about Quanto [Quantum Physics/Chemistry/Mechanics everything related to Quantum]
Rite now I am reading "Surely You Are Joking Mr. Feynman!" book which is about the great scientist Richard Feynman and covers his analysis of Quanto [not totally scientific but concepts] and his life.
Its a must read book.
You can skip the Quanto part and discover a lot about Feynman, truly a Magician

"There are two types of genius. Ordinary geniuses do great things, but they leave you room to believe that you could do the same if only you worked hard enough. Then there are magicians, and you can have no idea how they do it. Feynman was a Magician"

- Hans Beth, Theoretical physicist and Nobel laureate

So keep in touch my dear friend,
-Sudarshan
